CCTV DVR/NVR Not Booting Up. Stuck at H.264 Screen
The devices can’t even boot up, stuck at “H264” logo.
- Download
the "Beta Recovery Firmware” from the table above
- Pick
one USB flash drive(4GB/8GB is recommended), format it to FAT32, and put
the recovery firmware files inside, and plug in the DVR/NVR
- Execute
the hardware reset process.
- The
upgrading process will show up
- After
upgrading, DVR/NVR will reboot once or twice, and look normally
- Go to
SYSTEM INFO, and you will see the version is changed
- When
you recover it successfully, we highly recommend you "delete its admin account” manually, and “set
lock time for login failures”, so it will have high protection
against hacker attack.
The device’s “admin” account has been removed , and can’t be
logged in remotely anymore.
- Download
the “Anti-virus 2.0” Firmware from the table above. (only type “C”
products are supported)
- Download
the “upgradeAuto_Restore_Reboot.bin”
file.
- Pick
one USB flash drive, format it to FAT32, and put these 2 files inside, and
plug in the DVR/NVR
- Power
off and DVR/NVR, and power it on again
- After
upgrading, the DVR/NVR will recover the “admin” back
- When
you recover it successfully, we highly recommend you "delete
its admin account” manually, and “set
lock time for login failures”, so it will have high protection
against hacker attack.
Any other suspicious symptoms, for example, Login page
became wired
- please
upgrade to the latest firmware, and hardware reset the unit, and see if it
can get normal again. if can’t, please contact our technical people.
