ZKTECO Biometric attendance machine date and time reset problem.
Once the fingerprint attendance device is restarted the date and time changes. The issue might be with the CMOS battery on the mainboard.
In this video we will demonstrate how to fix the time error in ZKTECO Time Attendance devices. Usually wrong or inaccurate time occurs due to a weak or bulged CMOS Battery inside the mainboard of the fingerprint device, replacing the battery will rectify the time error issues.
Most of ZKTECO Biometric access controllers and time attendance devices comes with a cmos battery commonly CR1220.
